These silicone freezer bags work so well! I wish they were sold in a pack of 10, because I use them so much! I frequently cook up bone broth, and broke a lot of mason jars while freezing the broth in them – unfortunately! Since them I’ve been looking for other options to freeze the broth, and these freezer silicone bags are the perfect solution! They don’t break, mold to any shape (meaning they fit in tight spaces in the freezer!) and are relatively easy to clean out. The locking mechanism takes some getting used to, the clips that go over the closure are hard to open at first, but it gets easier. It’s definitely leak-proof, I didn’t have any leakage. Due to the shape they’re easy to fill as well. I really like them and wish they would be cheaper though, so I can buy more!

I ordered these to take on a 1400 mile road trip. I plan to freeze cold drinks in them and consume them as they thaw. I have tried to figure out how the straws fit in the bags while they are closed. However, they don’t appear to, so I’m at a loss as to why the strange shaped straws were included.

These silicone pouches are very durable and great quality. I don’t know if I’ll be using them as drink pouches because the opening is so large, but they are great for food storage. I first used them to store chili for the freezer, and they worked perfectly. I reheated the chili in a pot with hot water, keeping the food in the bag, and it was awesome – one less pot to clean. They would be perfect for camping or traveling, the enclosure is tight and leak proof if you attach it correctly. Another plus is that they stand up on their own, so they won’t collapse and spill.
