These foil bags are really nice! They do a good job of keeping food fresh in the freezer and they stay closed well. I dropped a star though because the little tab that zips it open and closed does not stay on the bag well. It slips off and then, to get the bag open, you have to wrangle it back on. That’s pretty annoying. But other than that the bags are great.

Absolutely love the rabbit print. The bag is essentially completely opaque. The seal is an easy to use slider lock. It includes two lines to write in the name and date of the contents. It has it on both sides, so you can use these labels at least twice instead of just once. The bag feels more like a coated aluminum foil (but tough) than the plastic most are used to. So this should stand up to repeated use.

The material is similar to Mylar, not doubting this is aluminum foil, just as a point of reference. So they are thin and crinkly sounding. The closure is a slide type and worked fine, one did come off but I was able to reposition and reattach it. The bottom can even flatten out for additional space. The down side is that makes it a bit more difficult to clean, as these are also supposed to be reusable. I’ve never really trusted slide closures more than the traditional manual one though. But really no complaints, performing as they should for now.

These “aluminum bags” are pretty nice. They feel flimsy, but are a bit tougher than your average sandwich bag. Plus, they lock out light that can rob your food of vitamins. The slider is easy to use and sturdy. Filled with air, it’s very hard to force any air out. Very close to airtight. All in a light weight package. (The medium is 9g each.)They’re not very convenient to wash out, though. They’re not as easy to flip around inside out as a typical thick freezer bag. Those can also be used multiple times. I would reserve these for when light blocking is key as they’re a bit more expensive.

They are very easy to clean and the zipper works well with the slider. The stand up design is nice as it keeps everything looking organized and easy to find inside the fridge. So far these are working great on keeping my veggies fresh longer. You can even label and date your food so you know what’s in the bag.
